Meet the Team

As the daughter of a South American father and a British mother, I was introduced at an early age to fibre arts ranging from the Andes in Ecuador to the highlands of Scotland. My father dedicated his career to the development and production of textiles and his passion and vision inspired me from an early age. From him I inherited an interest in various wools, yarns and fabrics and I am passionate about natural fibres. I enjoy knitting and have a keen interest in wool spinning.

For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for art and nature. I fell in love with textiles while working on my diploma in mixed media and fiber arts at the Kootenay School of Arts. Since my days at school, I have spent my life building my textile career learning new techniques and art forms like natural dying, embroidery, felting, wood working, clay work, spinning, silk screening and design. I take inspiration from the world around me and my love of animals and nature influence my artwork and my lifestyle. After living a nomadic life working and travelling around BC my family and I now call Kimberley home.
